The Case of the Missing Teacher

By Cami Saville

“Ally Oswald is now on this suspicious case, I heard your teacher went missing,” Ally says to the kids in Mrs. Lovington’s class. Ally looks around in the classroom for good clues and asks Elmwood Elementary‘s principal, Karen Kardashian, who is also a witness what happened. “Sorry, I don’t know what happened, but I do know she is not answering her cell phone!” Karen says while pacing,
“Ally, I think I found a clue!” Madison says nervously. Ally walks over and sees what Madison is talking about. “Wow, a bloody nail.We better go get that to DNA” Ally says sarcastically. “Wait I found a few more clues!” said Madison. “What do you have over there?” Ally says as she looked at Madison. “Oh, just a coin in a coin holder and a fork covered in ranch dressing,” Madison said calmly. “Ok, I guess she had a salad before she went missing?!” Ally said confused.
Later on that day, Ally took a DNA test and it was a positive match to Kelsey Lovington and the fork was a match to Mr. Lovington! “Madison, will you please call Mr. Lovington for me?” asked Ally. Madison calls Mr. Lovington and he asks, “What is wrong,Jr. Detective?” “We were wondering if you had seen your wife. Oh,,and I found a nail and a coin in a coin case out by her desk.” Madison asks, “My wife, Kelsey stepped on the nail on accident, so I took her to the hospital to make sure she was OK. The coin in the coin case is mine.I just set it down when it happened” said Mr. Lovington. “OK, what about the fork?” said Madison. “I was eating salad when it happened,” said Mr. Lovington.
Madison and Mr. Lovington said their good-byes and hung up. Then Madison says to Ally, “The case is solved!” “Wait! We forgot to replace the dead batteries in our flashlight,” said Ally. “We will do that later!” said Madison.
